The HR team has just posted an opening for a purchasing internship for the summer. This is a great opportunity for students going to college in the fall or for seniors who want to gain some industry experience after graduation. This individual would work closely with the accounting and purchasing team at Kettle Falls Plywood.
Must be 18 by the day you begin.

A representative from Spokane Community College will visit Jenkins Jr/Sr High School on October 20th at noon. Students who are interested in learning more about SCC should sign up at the counseling office.
Wildcat Preview Day is a free, on-campus event designed to help future students picture college life at Central Washington University. Attending is a great way for high schoolers and their families to learn more about CWU and the application process.
While on campus for Wildcat Preview Day, students can:
- Connect with academic departments and student clubs
- Tour campus, a residence hall, and spaces for hands-on learning
- Get information about financial aid and scholarships
- Meet with an admissions counselor for application assistance
Eligible students can even apply and receive their admission decision on the spot.

Students (especially 9th, 10th, and 11th graders), the semi-annual West Point Admissions Information Meeting will be held on Saturday, October 18th, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. at the Argonne County Library in Spokane. Parents, families, and potential academy candidates are invited to this review of what West Point is all about, the steps and basic requirements to get an appointment, and the unique nature of the overall program. Academy graduates and parents of recent graduates will be the presenters.
