September is National Suicide Prevention Month Suicide rates have been increasing for two decades now. And during this time Washington’s suicide rate has remained higher than the national average. Moreover, Washington’s Department of Health recently issued a warning of rising rates of suicide and suicidal thinking in the coming months, as a result of the COVID-19 related challenges many Washingtonians are experiencing.
