Dear Jenkins Students, Parents and Guardians,
There have been no COVID positive academic students this week and only one positive student athlete. There are currently five students who are quarantined for contact with a positive household member or who have COVID like symptoms.
If your student is quarantined it is imperative that they complete classwork by accessing their assignments on CANVAS. As a student or parent, if you need additional support please contact Casey Martin at 509.685.6800. She will be your academic support connection for any questions about working from home, such as technology access, to understand what the expectations are for a speciific assignment. We also encourage students and parents to email question to their individual teachers.
Last, Jenkins offers all students After School Enrichment (AE) in the art room from 3:00 - 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday with Mrs. Lilley and Mrs. Rhonda. Any students in grades 7-12 are invited to attend. At this time there is no bus transportation for any students who attend so students do need to be able to walk or be picked up by an adult in the system. This is open for all athletes who need support staying academically eligible.
