Update for the Class of 2021

Class of 2021,

 

Your senior year has begun! Wow can you believe it?

 

Now there are some very important projects that must be completed and activities to attend.

Please review the list below:

1.  Complete your High School and Beyond Plan.  It should be complete, and you should just have to make minor adjustments.  The answers to the opening questions should be in complete well-developed paragraphs.  Those of you going on to university, college, or applying for scholarships will use these paragraphs to write your essays.   Mrs. Fisk will start checking next week.  Website:  myschooldata.wsipc.org   Login:  Use your Skyward Student Access District: Chewelah.  This is a graduation requirement.
2. Available Right Now--FAFSA:   Go to fsaid.ed.gov and get your Student ID.  Parents you need one also!  Then you will be ready to apply October 1.  All seniors should apply for Financial Aid regardless of current plans.  FAFSA opens on October 1.  That way if you change your mind in the spring you may access your financial aid award.
3. SAT/ACT scores are not required for entrance in any Washington State Public College.
4. College Applications:  Now is the time to apply... if you qualify for a fee waiver please contact Mrs. Fisk.  

 

 

October 1: Apply for Financial Aid!  fafsa.ed.gov

 

October 12-16:  FAFSA help at Jenkins by appointment. Call Vanessa to schedule your time. 685-6800 Ext 2011

 

October 13:   Western Washington University will be here to visit virtually with those students interested from 1:00-2:00.  You must sign up with Mrs. Fisk or Vanessa by October 12 to attend.
