NEW REGISTRATION
STEPS TO REGISTER YOUR STUDENT WHO IS NEW TO JENKINS JR/SR HIGH SCHOOL:
If you live within the district boundaries pre-registration is the first step. Please contact Tracey Hilpert, Counseling Secretary/Registrar at 509-685-6800 Ext. 2009 to complete the pre-registration over the phone, make an appointment to pre-register in person, or stop by anytime during regular student days and hours.
During pre-registration you will provide the information necessary to generate a profile for your student and create a Skyward Family Access account. Specifically, information regarding the last school attended, student’s race, language, and family/guardian details.
Once this is complete, you will be issued your Skyward Family Access login and password so you can finish the registration process, which is also online. The Counseling Office will electronically request immunization and student records from the previous school.

RETURNING STUDENTS
STEPS TO UPDATE YOUR RETURNING STUDENT’S INFORMATION:
If your student attended Chewelah School District last year, we ask that you log in to Skyward Family Access and verify that the information is complete, up-to-date, and then simply electronically submit the current year registration forms.
This verification process needs to be completed annually, prior to the start of each new school year, to ensure we have the most current information and authorizations from parents and guardians.
Please note: Students who previously attended school in Chewelah School District, withdrew, and are now returning will need to begin with pre-registration.

STEPS TO CHOICE TRANSFER INTO OUR DISTRICT:
If you reside outside of district boundaries and wish to attend Chewelah Schools this is called a Choice Transfer.
Begin by completing the request here: CHOICE TRANSFER REQUEST PORTAL.
If the request is approved you will then need to register your student(s) as stated above. Please contact Tracey Hilpert, Counseling Secretary/Registrar at 509-685-6800 Ext. 2009 to begin the registration process.
